Outreach Meetings
Public Involvement activities will be closely tied to the technical portion of the study and its project development process. Meetings with the public will be held to provide project information on Wadsworth Road Intersections and to seek comment. Conducting large-scale meetings will encourage public attendance and foster public awareness of project developments and alternatives that are being evaluated. These meetings will also provide a forum for general public input, including concerns and comments regarding project alternatives.
- Public Information Meeting #1 (Summer 2014) served to initiate the project and educate stakeholders on the project process and study area. It also provided an opportunity for the public to share their perspective regarding transportation issues and project concerns.
- Public Information Meeting #2 (Spring 2016) presented preliminary alternatives that were developed with the assistance of the SIG, data collection, feedback from the kick-off Public Information Meeting, and engineering analysis.
- Public Information Meeting #3 for Dilleys and Kilbourne Road intersection improvements (Spring 2017) presented the Preferred Alternative for public review and comment.
- Public Information Meeting #4 for US-41 intersection improvements (anticipated Spring 2022) will present the Preferred Alternative for public review and comment.
